Title: "Ministry of Foreign Affairs Submits Complaints Against Israel to Cabinet"

Title:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants has submitted to the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, based on discussions from the most recent Cabinet session on March 19, 2024, copies of 22 letters and complaints directed at Israel to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council, through Lebanon's permanent mission to the UN in New York. These complaints document Israel's violations of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and urge the members of the Security Council to collectively condemn these aggressions. They also call for halting Israel's violations of Lebanese sovereignty and preventing the outbreak of a large-scale regional war. Additionally, some of these complaints include Lebanon's detailed responses to Israeli claims accusing Lebanon of violating Resolution 1701. Lebanon has also presented a roadmap in its letters to the Security Council, envisioning a plan for achieving sustainable stability in southern Lebanon through the comprehensive and integrated implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701.
