The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced today, Monday, that oil loading and export operations have resumed from the Qayyara field at a capacity of 33,000 barrels per day. An official statement from Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul-Ghani indicated that the transportation from the field is carried out via railway lines, with a quantity of 30,000 barrels per day to the oil export ports in the Gulf, in addition to supplying the Qayyara oil refinery with 3,000 barrels per day.
