The Athletics Federation is organizing a track championship for various categories tomorrow at the "Al Nasr" Club and Dubai International School Academy in Al Barsha 1, as part of the scheduled championship agenda for the current season. The organization of the championship follows the significant success of the Elite Running Cup events, which included a 10 km men's race, 6 km youth and women's races, 4 km for junior boys and girls, and a 2 km race for boys and girls and juniors, held last Saturday at Al Madam Sports Club with the participation of 300 male and female athletes.
The "Al Nasr" Club will host the hammer throw, shot put, and javelin events featuring various male and female categories. The remaining competitions will take place at the Dubai International Academy and will include races of 200 meters and 400 meters hurdles for under 16 and under 18 boys and girls, as well as 400 meters hurdles for above and below 20 years for men and women. Additionally, there will be a 300 meters race for under 16 boys and girls, a 200 meters race for under 18 boys and girls, and another 200 meters race for above and below 20 years for men and women.
A 1000 meters race for under 16 boys and girls, an 800 meters race for under 18 boys and girls, a 3000 meters race for under 20 boys and girls, and above 20 years for men and women will also be held. There will be a 4x400 meters relay for under and over 20 years for youth and juniors, men and women, and a 4x200 meters relay for under 16 boys and girls, in addition to high jump and triple jump competitions for all categories.
