Colored Medals for Lebanon at the West Asia Fencing Championship

The Lebanese youth fencing team, which participated in the West Asia Championship organized by the West Asia Fencing Federation in the Jordanian capital, Amman, for the under-11, 13, and 15 age categories, returned with 9 medals of various colors.

Gabriel Naime won the title in the sabre category for those aged 13 and under, while Ray Dawood took silver in the same category. Jeremy Tanius earned a silver medal in the sabre for those aged 11 and under, and Mark Sarrouh won bronze in the fencing foil for the same age group. Ray Dawood and Gabriel Naime also claimed bronze in the foil for those aged 13 and under, and Gabriel Naime won bronze in the sabre for those aged 15 and under.

In team competitions, Lebanon secured silver medals in both the fencing foil and sabre categories for males aged 15 and under.

The president and members of the federation congratulated the team on the outstanding results achieved by the young players, who represent hope for the future. They expressed their gratitude to the head of the delegation, Antoine Anyssy, and the national coaches Mahmoud Ali Ahmad and Tawfiq Shaheen for their significant efforts, as well as to the parents who accompanied their children and provided them with all the necessary support, both material and moral.
