Ben Gvir Calls Again for Crushing Hamas

The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that the far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir "called for a return to fighting and crushing Hamas once again." Following the violation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip after the detonation of three explosive devices near Israeli army forces in northern Gaza, Ben Gvir urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "not tolerate the detonation of the explosives targeting our soldiers, and to issue an order to the Israeli army to crush Hamas by force once again." According to Ben Gvir, "we should not wait for our fighters to be killed; we must return to work according to the objective of the war... the complete destruction of Hamas." Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that Israeli forces breached the truce today in northern Gaza, resulting in clashes between the two sides. The ceasefire between "Hamas" and the Israeli government continues for the fifth consecutive day after being extended for two days under the same conditions, amidst waiting for the release of a new batch of hostages and prisoners.
