Racing Pigeon Champion of Turkey in 505 km Race

A pigeon belonging to a Turkish breeder won the final competition of the Golden Cup for racing pigeons held in Edirne province, after covering a distance of 505 kilometers in 9 hours. The event took place in the "Kara Ağac" area and featured fierce competition with the participation of 429 pigeons from Turkey, Romania, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The first place was awarded to a pigeon owned by Turkish breeder "Tyfon Çağlaniander." In recognition of this achievement, the owner received a prize of 300,000 Turkish Lira (approximately 11,000 USD).
