Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced that "Russian forces bombed the railway station in the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine today, Tuesday, while a train was preparing to evacuate residents, resulting in the death of one police officer and injuries to four others." He explained via the Telegram app that "about 140 civilians were at the station, and the police immediately issued instructions for people to stay away from the area." Klymenko stated, "Thanks to the clear actions taken by the police, everyone was successfully moved to safe locations. Unfortunately, a police officer from the Kirovohrad region lost his life due to the shelling... and two more police officers are in the hospital due to shrapnel injuries."
