Title: Last-Minute Goal Lifts Napoli in Italian Serie A Standings

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a stunning goal before the end to secure Napoli a 2-1 victory over their visitors Hellas Verona in Serie A on Sunday, after the defending champions fell behind in the second half. Napoli started the match very strongly, but Verona's goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò denied them the chance to score, quickly extinguishing the hosts' early hopes. Instead, the guests gained confidence and took the lead in the 72nd minute when the ball struck Diego Coppola's shoulder in the penalty area following a free kick. Cyril Ngonge came on as a substitute for Napoli and scored against his former club just seven minutes later. It seemed Verona would earn a valuable point, but Kvaratskhelia struck a powerful shot from distance in the 87th minute that found the back of Montipò's net. Napoli moved up to seventh place with 35 points, while Verona fell into the relegation zone in 18th place with 18 points.
