Hunter Biden "Held" in the White House for Two Weeks Without Employees' Knowledge

Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden managed to spend two weeks with his father, President Joe Biden, at the White House without most staff members being aware. The Washington Post reported yesterday, Thursday, that 53-year-old Hunter spent this time in the White House accompanied by his wife and son. A plea deal between him and U.S. judicial authorities regarding allegations related to tax evasion and illegal possession of a firearm would spare him prison time. Most aides to the 80-year-old U.S. president were unaware of Hunter's extended visit, which coincided with an official dinner at the White House honoring the Prime Minister of India, where Hunter was present.

The Washington Post report indicates that most White House aides, including senior staff, are not only "uninvolved" in discussions about the president's son but also "strenuously avoid" discussing Hunter's legal issues with the Commander-in-Chief, due to their belief that "contributions and ideas would not be welcomed."

Who is Hunter Biden? Hunter studied law and graduated from the prestigious Georgetown and Yale universities. He initially worked at a law firm in New York before co-founding an investment consulting firm named Rosemont Seneca Partners. In 2012, he joined the U.S. Navy Reserve but was discharged in 2014 after tests revealed he was using cocaine. U.S. tabloids continuously discuss his addiction problems and tumultuous personal life.

Congress has investigated Hunter for business deals made with China, Ukraine, and other locations during his father's tenure as Vice President under Barack Obama from 2009-2017 and even after those years. The Republican opposition accuses Hunter of engaging in dubious activities in Ukraine and China, benefitting from his father's name and connections.
