6 Injuries in Gas Leak Incident in Western Algeria

The Algerian newspaper "Echourouk" reported that 6 people sustained various burns in a gas leak followed by an explosion in the Ghilizan province in western Algeria. The gas leak incident occurred in a family residence in the Ouad Rhiou district of Ghilizan province. Algerian civil protection authorities stated today, Friday, that "their services intervened at 11:16 for a gas leak incident followed by an explosion at a ground floor residence on Arab Tebsi Street in the municipality of Marja Sidi Abed, Ouad Rhiou district." They clarified that "the incident resulted in 6 people suffering first and second-degree burns on different parts of their bodies, and they were assisted and transported to the local hospital."
