CSD Warns: ISIS Reorganizes with 10,000 Hidden Fighters

Shortly after the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that the organization "ISIS" has killed more than 100 civilians and military personnel in 50 operations executed on Syrian territory since the beginning of this year, despite declaring its actual defeat years ago, the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a new statement. The media spokesperson for the CSD, Saimand Ali, confirmed the arrest of ISIS members in the city of Hasakah in eastern Syria, noting that the evidence and slogans indicate that the organization has begun individual and collective operations targeting military forces, tribal leaders, and even employees of the autonomous administration. He also pointed out that this indicates the organization is still capable of committing terrorist crimes and explained that his forces' counter-operations against the organization suggest that ISIS has started to regroup. In response to a question about the organization's numbers, the official stated that there are no clear figures, but estimates indicate that there are more than 10,000 ISIS fighters operating covertly in Syrian territory.
