On Saturday, the U.S. Central Command confirmed that American forces attacked a Houthi radar station in Yemen. This follows hours after multiple airstrikes on various Houthi targets in the heart of Yemen. Meanwhile, "Maxar Technologies" released several satellite images showing the extent of the destruction caused by the strikes on Houthi military bases. The images displayed those sites before and after the strikes, with some appearing completely destroyed.
On Friday, the U.S. Air Force stated in a press release that it conducted strikes against 60 targets across 16 Houthi positions, targeting command and control centers, ammunition storage, launch systems, manufacturing facilities, and air defense radar systems. It added that over 100 precision-guided missiles were launched during the strikes against the Houthis, utilizing Tomahawk missiles fired from ships and submarines.
The U.S. Central Command indicated that "sites containing weapons and munitions and rocket launch areas were targeted." The strikes were executed using aircraft, ships, and submarines on Houthi targets in several Yemeni cities, including Dhamar, Sanaa, Saada, Taiz, and Hodeidah.
