Musk Discusses the End of Humanity's Existence on Earth

American businessman and owner of the platform "X," Elon Musk, stated that "human civilization will last only a few hundred years if humanity does not consider living among the planets." Musk responded to a question from American journalist and activist Ed Krasnstein about the end of human civilization, saying, "If we become multi-planetary and then interstellar, our civilization will last for millions of years, but if not, human civilization is likely to end in just a few hundred years." Musk also pointed out, "Humanity needs to maintain its current technological level until Mars becomes fully self-sufficient, which could happen within 20 years."
