Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi, addressing the International Court of Justice today, emphasized that "the Israeli aggression on Gaza must end immediately," adding that "Palestinians are dying in Gaza from both the Israeli aggression and starvation due to a lack of food and medicine." Al-Safadi pointed out that "the number of settlers has risen from 280,000 in 1993, when the Oslo Accords were signed, to 700,000 today, an increase of more than 150%," and clarified that "Israel is imposing demographic change in the occupied Palestinian territory." He stated, "For the sake of peace and justice, Jordan will not waver in its efforts to protect Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem and to preserve its identity." He also mentioned during his speech at the International Court regarding the incident involving the killing of the child Hind, saying, "The brutality that tortured and killed Hind is a constant reality under occupation, and this brutality must end."
