Two giraffes took a leisurely stroll down the 18th hole during the final round of the Magical Kenya Ladies Open golf tournament at the "Paubab" golf course in the Fivengo Ridge resort in Kenya. The course is situated within a wildlife reserve, where a variety of African animals, from monkeys to zebras and antelopes, roam freely. Many of the wildlife in the area are rescued animals, including the giraffes that wandered onto the course on Sunday. One of the giraffes was named "Valentine," having been rescued from drought while she was orphaned in northern Kenya during Valentine's Day in 2021, according to the Fivengo Ridge website. The Fivengo Ridge resort spans 2,500 acres and boasts the only golf course in Africa approved by the PGA Tour, along with a PGA academy designed to develop a future champion from Kenya.
