Brighton Easily Defeats Ten-Man Sheffield United

Simon Adingra scored a late brace to lead Brighton & Hove Albion to a commanding 5-0 victory over Sheffield United, who are at the bottom of the table and played most of the match with ten players after Mason Holgate was sent off. Facundo Buonanotte and Danny Welbeck found the net in the first half after Holgate, who joined Sheffield United on loan from Everton this month, received a red card in the 13th minute for a reckless challenge on Kaoru Mitoma. Jack Robinson scored an own goal in the 75th minute before Adingra netted two goals within seven minutes, securing Brighton's first away win in the Premier League since November.
