Troubles Follow Boeing: "Technical Issue" Causes Dozens to be Injured

Troubles Follow Boeing:

It seems that crises continue to haunt Boeing, the aircraft manufacturing company. Following several recent incidents, including one where a door detached from an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 during flight, a new accident has occurred. LATAM Airlines revealed to the New Zealand Herald that at least 50 people were injured, most with minor injuries, on Monday due to a "technical issue" that caused "severe turbulence" during a flight from Sydney to Auckland. The LATAM Airlines flight LA 800, which is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, landed at Auckland Airport on Monday afternoon as scheduled, according to FlightAware. The flight typically stops in Auckland on its way to Santiago, the capital of Chile. A spokesperson for the airline told the Herald that a "technical issue" during the flight affected some crew members and passengers, without providing further details. Additionally, a spokesperson for the Hato Hone St John hospital informed Reuters that an ambulance treated about 50 people at the airport. They added that one of the injured is in serious condition, while the others sustained minor to moderate injuries.
