Fire Consumes Nile Floating Restaurant in Front of a Famous Hotel in Giza

A huge fire broke out inside a Nile floating restaurant on the Nile Corniche in Giza. The operations room of the civil protection in Giza received a report from the emergency police indicating the emergence of thick smoke and rising flames in front of a famous hotel. Major General Hazem Farouk, Director of the General Administration of Civil Protection in Giza, dispatched firefighting vehicles and boats. A preliminary inspection revealed that the fire had started inside the "Americana" boat on the Nile Corniche, amidst efforts to minimize damage.
