Berri: The Bloodshed in the South is for International Envoys to Address

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri condemned "the massacre committed by Israel last night in the city of Nabatieh, which resulted in more than 10 martyrs and a large number of injured, most of whom were women and children." He stated, "This new massacre adds to the record of killings, terrorism, and genocidal wars by both the political and military levels of the Israeli entity through the cowardly aggression that targeted the innocent in the city of Nabatieh." Berri noted that "this massacre, committed with premeditation and malice, reflects the aggressive and racist nature of this enemy, which no longer hides its contradiction in its performance and approach against anything humane, and that its declared and hidden target bank consists of civilians and all aspects of life in our country and region." He added, "The blood spilled in Nabatieh, and previously in Hula, Suwayneh, and Adchit, is for the attention of the international envoys, the United Nations, and human rights organizations—not for condemnation and denunciation, but to act urgently and immediately to stop the Israeli killing machine and restrain the leaders of the occupation entity who are dragging the region towards a war with dire consequences." Berri concluded by stating, "Mercy for the martyrs, heartfelt condolences to their families, and prayers for the injured for a swift recovery."
