Jordanian Army Announces Injury of Soldier in Gaza

The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced today, Monday, that Corporal Sharif Jihad Mohammed Al-Ayashrah, a soldier at the Jordanian Field Hospital/2 in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, was injured by a bullet of unknown source in the right thigh while performing his duties at the hospital. The official spokesperson added that the necessary first aid was administered to the injured, and a procedure will be carried out to remove the bullet and explore the arteries and nerves, and his general condition is stable. He confirmed that there is no material damage and that everyone at the hospital is fine, and the medical teams working in the Gaza Strip continue to provide medical and therapeutic services and fulfill their humanitarian duty to the people in the area.
