The President of the Metula settlement council stated to "Israel Hayom" that "I have not entered the council building in six months," pointing out that "only 34 people remain in Metula and the soldiers are sleeping in the settlers' homes." The council president had previously announced that "Metula has been completely evacuated and more than 130 homes have been damaged, everything is closed." Metula is located 6 km from the border with Lebanon.
