As part of the development of the refereeing system, the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation organized a course for the graduation of new referees and a study course to qualify referees in the "Poomsae" (virtual combat) discipline at the "Mon La Salle" club over two days. The sessions were led by Grand Master Eli Chrouh, the Chairman of the Poomsae Committee in the federation, with Grand Master Joe Khoury, a member of the Taekwondo Federation, representing the President Dr. Habib Zreife. Khoury delivered a speech wishing success to the participants in both courses, emphasizing the federation's role in nurturing and developing the refereeing system and conveyed the President's greetings. A total of 35 referees participated in the courses, which included theoretical and practical studies, as well as scoring techniques, followed by examinations for the participants. Chrouh also updated the referees on the latest rules recently approved by the international federation. Previously, Chrouh participated in a study conducted by the international federation in Manchester, England, focusing on the new regulations.
