Inspection Tours by Economic Monitors on Sweet Shops

Economic and Trade Ministry monitors from the Consumer Protection Directorate in Nabatiyeh Governorate conducted inspection tours in the city of Nabatiyeh and its surroundings, with the presence of the director, Mohammad Baytar, to check sweet shops, especially those producing and selling Ramadan sweets. Samples of "cream" were taken for testing in accredited laboratories to ensure their safety. Additionally, inspections of the shops' facilities were carried out to verify cleanliness, proper storage of raw materials, and the safety of refrigeration.
