Palestinian Killed and 8 Injured by Israeli Gunfire in Tulkarem Camp

The "Wafa" news agency reported that a Palestinian youth was killed early this Friday by Israeli military fire in the Tulkarem camp. In detail, the director of Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, Dr. Amin Khader, indicated to Palestine TV that the deceased died from a gunshot wound to the chest and that at least eight others were injured. The Fatah movement stated that the deceased was Mahmoud Jarad and that he was a member of the movement.

The Israeli army reported that soldiers on a mission in Tulkarem opened fire on suspects. They added that damage occurred to several military vehicles, but there were no reports of injuries among the soldiers. Israeli forces deployed snipers around the camp and its streets, amid heavy live fire, sound bombs, and tear gas.
