Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the arrest of 8 individuals suspected of working for Israeli intelligence. On Friday, Yerlikaya noted that the operation involved various security agencies. He explained that the arrests were made due to their involvement in gathering information about individuals and companies in Turkey targeted by Israeli intelligence and transferring this information and documents to Israeli intelligence operatives. He mentioned that Turkish judicial authorities have decided to imprison two of the suspects while placing six others under judicial surveillance. He emphasized that the ministry is monitoring various espionage activities within Turkey and asserted, "We will never allow espionage activities aimed at our national unity and solidarity within our borders."
