The President of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, received a delegation from the "Ramghavar" Party at the party's headquarters in Maarab. The delegation included Executive Committee President Avedis Daksian, Head of Foreign Relations Ara Koyounian, Secretary Ara Terzyan, and Media Official LeVon Barsigian, along with Member of the Strong Republic Bloc, MP Jihad Bqaradouni, and the party’s former Minister of Foreign Relations, Richard Kiyumjian.
Following the meeting, Koyounian noted that the "Ramghavar" Party is an ally of the Lebanese Forces Party, describing their visit as "routine." He emphasized their support for prioritizing the election of a president through constitutional means, specifically by convening a voting session with consecutive rounds until a new president is elected. Regarding the party's position on the call for dialogue, Koyounian confirmed their principled support for dialogue with all political components for Lebanon's benefit. However, he stated that the election of the president must occur constitutionally and practically within the Parliament, which has the primary task of electing a president and organizing the work of institutions. Thus, he insisted that a president should be elected first before engaging in dialogue.
