The Executive Committee of the Lebanese Rugby Union held its regular meeting yesterday evening, Monday, at six o'clock, chaired by the Union President Samir Dabouq, with the majority of members present: Ghassan Hajar, Elias Khoury, Ighal Al-Hazraq, and Abdullah Jamal via Zoom due to being abroad. The meeting began with an evaluation of the Lebanese women's national team's participation in the fourth Arab Women's Championship in Saudi Arabia, where the results were deemed positive and promising. Continuous preparations for the team were emphasized to gain experience and maintain high readiness.
Following this, the committee moved to study and discuss the items listed on the agenda and made the following decisions:
1. To invite the General Assembly to hold an ordinary session to approve the administrative and financial statements in the second half of March.
2. To form a committee consisting of Ighal Al-Hazraq, Elias Khoury, and the Union's Director Marwan Azar, to review the applications submitted by clubs wishing to join the Union's family.
