The leader of the Sadrist movement, Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr, has decided to cancel the mourning procession of the "Al-Sadr" family. A document states, "I see it in the interest to cancel the unified procession of Al-Sadr during visits, without service processions and to integrate with all believers and mourners during the deaths of the imams and in all rituals." He added, "We are not separate from them, but we are like a single body except for those who have corrupted, oppressed, and conspired; we are disassociated from them until the Day of Judgment."
