Al Hilal won the Saudi Super Cup title by defeating Al Ittihad 4-1 in the final match held at Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi. The goals for Al Hilal were scored by Brazilian Malcom (2) and Salem Al-Dosari (2), while the only goal for Al Ittihad was scored by Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah. With this victory, "The Leader" extended their winning streak to 33 consecutive matches.
