Ukrainian authorities raised air raid warnings across most of the country today, Friday. Officials in the capital, Kyiv, reported that "defense systems shot down more than 30 missiles and drones launched by Russia." The military authorities in Kyiv disclosed on "Telegram" that "Russia launched drones and cruise missiles simultaneously." They added, "According to information, air defense forces detected and destroyed over 30 aerial targets of various types in the airspace above Kyiv and its surroundings." Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, stated in a message: "There are explosions in the city. Air defenses are working. A new wave of drones is heading towards the city." Russia has launched approximately 20 separate missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities since the beginning of May.
