As part of his tour to meet with ambassadors from the five permanent members of the Security Council, the head of external relations for the Lebanese Forces Party, former Minister Richard Kioumjian, accompanied by the department's official Tony Darwish, visited Russian Ambassador Alexander Rudakov, with Deputy Ambassador Maxim Romanov and political attaché Sergey Bondarchuk present. The delegation also visited the Chinese ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Mingjian, at the embassy in the southern district, with political attachés from the embassy present.

During both visits, the Lebanese Forces Party's stance was presented, advocating for steering Lebanon away from senseless war and destruction through the implementation and strengthening of Resolution 1701, enhancing the deployment of the Lebanese Army along the borders, and withdrawing all armed militias from the border area. The meetings also addressed various political situations in Lebanon and regional developments in light of the war in Gaza, the clashes on Lebanon's southern border, and the role of major countries in calming tensions and preventing the war from spreading.
