The names of three Israeli Defense Forces officers killed in clashes with the resistance in Gaza were allowed to be published:

- Captain David Nati Al-Fasi, 27 years old, from Be'er Sheva, a sergeant major in the 2nd Battalion of the 202 Paratroopers Brigade, killed near southern Gaza.

- Captain Eli Levi, 24 years old, from Tel Aviv, a company commander in the 202 Paratroopers Battalion, killed near southern Gaza.

- Lieutenant Eyal Mabroush Toto, 22 years old, from Beit Jamaliel, a platoon leader in the 202 Paratroopers Battalion, killed near southern Gaza.
