Common Legal Issues between Iraq and the United States

On Monday, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq, Judge Faik Zidan, discussed with the legal attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Ellen Andreesi, the mutual cooperation between the two countries on common legal issues. A statement from the Supreme Judicial Council noted that "the two sides discussed mutual cooperation on common legal matters and the continued support for training specialized personnel in the field of combating terrorism, economic crimes, and money laundering."
