The fierce tone of the dispute that prevailed during the summer transfer period between Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, and the team's star Kylian Mbappé has faded.
In statements made during an interview with the Portuguese newspaper "Record," Al-Khelaifi said: "Kylian Mbappé is an amazing player and a great person." He added: "I've never seen the kind of cohesion and unity that PSG had, especially after the recent match against Olympique Lyon; we are on the right track."
He continued: "We are focusing less on results this season and more on performance and our style of play. If we do that, the results will come."
Nasser Al-Khelaifi concluded with, "We have a great coach and a great sporting director, and I am very happy with the spirit the team has at the moment."
