"They Kidnapped Him and Demanded Ransom"... And the Army Intervenes!

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement today, Tuesday: "On March 25, 2024, an armed gang kidnapped the Syrian (M. Sh. A.) from his home in the area of Yunin - Baalbek, and the kidnappers demanded a substantial ransom for his release. Consequently, a unit from the army, supported by a patrol from the intelligence directorate, conducted raids on the homes of the gang members in the town of Maqne - Baalbek. In this context, the directorate managed to free the kidnapped individual, apprehending one of the kidnappers, (Y. M.), and seizing a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, along with military gear. The seized items were handed over, and an investigation has commenced with the detainee, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining perpetrators."
