Arab Championship for Horse Breeders: Omani Horses Win Gold

Omani Royal Cavalry horses and horses owned by Saud Al-Shariqi won a double gold at the conclusion of the third edition of the Arab Championship for Arabian Horse Breeders, dedicated to Arab owners and breeders. Dubai Stud and Al-Aryam Stables each secured a gold title.

The championship was organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society at the main hall of Boudheeb Academy in Al-Khamis over two days, with the participation of 118 horses. The event aimed to support Arabian horse breeders both inside and outside the country, providing them an opportunity to showcase their production in a "C" international classification competition according to the regulations set by "ECAHO."

The horse "Suhayb Gulf" owned by Saud Al-Shariqi won the gold title for one-year-old fillies, while the silver title went to "Al-Aryam Ala" from Al-Aryam Stables, and the bronze title to "Dhabiyat Al-Zubair" for Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Thani.

"Al-Qaythara RC" from the Omani Royal Cavalry claimed the gold title in the 2-3 year age category for fillies, with the silver title going to "Al-Aryam Khuwali" from Al-Aryam Stables and the bronze to "D Taimah" from Dubai Stud.

"De Judy" from Dubai Stud topped the mares category and achieved the gold title, while the silver title went to her companion "De Ghalia," and the bronze to "Aj Al-Baraqah Al-Khamisa" from Ajman Stud.

"Al-Aryam Ajeeb" from Al-Aryam Stables claimed the gold title for one-year-old colts, with the silver title awarded to "Niyal Al-Faras" for Firas Fouad, and the bronze to "Munif Al-Zubair" for Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani.

Completing the double for Al-Shariqi horses, "GS Marsal" won the gold title for 2-3 year old colts, while the silver title went to "FD Rafal" from Al-Falah Stud, and the bronze to "De Shahak" from Dubai Stud.

The second gold for the Omani Royal Cavalry was achieved by "Prestige RC," winning the title of the stallions category, with the silver going to stallion "Al-Aryam Bari'" and the bronze to "Al-Aryam Hashim" for Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
