Iran's Minister of Communications, Isa Zarepour, announced the potential testing of a one-ton biological capsule, capable of carrying living organisms and humans in the space domain, in 2024. The Tasnim International News Agency reported that the "new generation of biological capsules has been tested using the Salman carrier. This year, we are also attempting to have a space event in this field." He added, "We will test our new capsule, which weighs about one ton and is capable of carrying a living being. The capsule tested 10 years ago, I believe, weighed 100 or 150 kilograms, but this capsule weighs about one ton, which can carry even a human. However, preliminary tests are currently being conducted." This biological capsule represents a scientific, research, and technological payload in line with achieving the roadmap of human space exploration, which was launched at an altitude of 130 kilometers from Earth to develop and acquire the necessary technologies in this regard.
