Deryan: Saudi Support is the Core Backbone for Lebanese People

The Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the Saudi National Day. He said, "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the focal point for Arabs and Muslims, a symbol of pride, dignity, and grandeur, and boasts significant developmental and civilizational accomplishments in the Kingdom of Good. It has extended its generous support in Lebanon and throughout the world. We ask God Almighty to sustain security, stability, safety, prosperity, and growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under its wise and prudent leadership." He concluded: "Lebanon, as a state and a people, does not forget the role of Saudi Arabia, which has been and continues to support and assist its institutions and stand by it in all circumstances and critical moments. It is the primary backbone for all Lebanese without distinction."
