Israeli media reported today, Thursday, that "Israeli forces killed three sons of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniya in an airstrike without consulting senior leaders or political figures, particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu." The Walla news site quoted senior Israeli officials stating that "Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant were not informed in advance of the airstrike, which was coordinated between the Israeli army and the internal security agency, Shin Bet." The site noted that "Amir, Mohammad, and Hazem Haniya were targeted as militants, not solely because they are the sons of the Hamas Political Bureau Chief."
