The head of the Finance and Budget Committee, MP Ibrahim Kanaan, is heading to the U.S. capital, Washington, at the invitation of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, to participate in the "Spring meetings." He will have meetings with those concerned with the Lebanese file. A statement from MP Kanaan indicated that the visit, which will last several days, will include political and financial meetings. Kanaan will meet with the U.S. administration at the White House, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and Congress, in addition to meetings with the Lebanese community.
