The General Directorate for Drug Affairs of the Ministry of Interior announced today, Thursday, the dismantling of a drug trafficking network in the capital, Baghdad. A statement from the directorate indicated, "Under the supervision of Minister of Interior Abdul Amir al-Shammari and through a highly strategic operation backed by intelligence, the General Directorate for Drug Affairs managed to dismantle a drug trafficking network in Baghdad’s Resafa district." It added, "The network consists of four suspects, and four kilograms of crystal meth were seized in the act."
