The Iraqi National Security Service revealed, on Friday, the strangest methods of drug smuggling while arresting those involved in Basra. In a statement, it was mentioned that "the suspects were part of a drug trafficking network consisting of 11 individuals operating in the provinces of Basra, Baghdad, Diwaniya, and Kut." The agency added, "Our forces were initially able to arrest a member of the network red-handed with the narcotics, who was a key transporter between the provinces, and then apprehended the remaining suspects." It was noted that "the force found quantities of crystal meth hidden inside walnut shells."
