The President of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Joe Saloum, announced in a statement that "the retirement salary for about 500 retired pharmacists and their beneficiaries is now $513 per month, in addition to free health insurance for the retired pharmacist and their spouse. Thus, the syndicate has partially justified the efforts of pharmacists who dedicated their lives to their humanitarian mission, and these individuals represent the dignity of pharmacists and the primary concern of the syndicate. The syndicate was able to achieve this after several measures that led to an increase in its income and fresh reserves."
