Security Forces: Arrest of a Drug Dealer in Metn

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced the arrest of a drug dealer active in promoting heroin and crystal meth in Metn. The arrested individual is identified as B.M. (born in 2000, Syrian nationality). Following careful surveillance, he was caught in the act in the area of Bourj Hammoud while selling drugs using a black motorbike, which was confiscated.

In a statement, the directorate indicated that during the search of him and the motorbike, they seized: 4 envelopes of heroin labeled 400, weighing approximately 2 grams each, 2 envelopes of heroin labeled 800, weighing about 3 grams each, 4 envelopes labeled 10 grams, weighing around 4 grams each, one special heroin envelope weighing about 6 grams, and 7 grams of crystal meth weighing approximately 0.8 grams, along with a mobile phone and a sum of money.

The directorate noted that during the interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him regarding selling drugs, particularly heroin and crystal meth, to several customers in various areas of Metn using the motorbike that was seized. He also confessed to operating for one of the drug dealers. The motorbike was legally confiscated, and the necessary legal actions were taken against him. He and the seized items were referred to the relevant authority based on judicial instructions.
