Netherlands: Several People Taken Hostage!

Dutch radio NOS announced today, Saturday, that several hostages have been taken in a café in the city of Ede, in the eastern part of the country. The radio pointed out that there is no information yet about the identity of the kidnappers or the number of people being held. Police, firefighters, and emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the incident occurred. The county police stated that "at this time there are no signs of any terrorist motives behind the hostage situation."
