The Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, ordered today, Monday, the appointment of Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister and tasked him with nominating members for the new cabinet. This comes after Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the former Prime Minister of Kuwait, submitted his resignation to the Amir a day after the announcement of the results of the National Assembly elections.
