The situation on the southern front does not indicate a de-escalation today, following a dangerous night experienced by southerners yesterday with heavy Israeli shelling that destroyed homes in several towns and an entire residential neighborhood in Aitaroun. This coincided with Hezbollah intensifying its military operations against Israeli border sites. Today, since the early morning hours, alarms sounded in the western and upper Galilee regions, before the Israeli army announced the interception of 8 rockets fired from Lebanon towards the western Galilee area, while "two rockets fell in an uninhabited area." The Israeli army targeted several sites in southern Lebanon following the rocket launches.
