Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al-Muqrin has been sworn in as the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Spain before King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Her Highness Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Ayaf Al-Muqrin was chosen by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - to be the ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain following her notable success during her previous role as the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

In 2020, King Salman approved Princess Haifa's appointment as the Kingdom's representative at UNESCO. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London.
She began her professional career in academia in the economics department at King Saud University. She served as a project officer and national officer at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) between 2009 and 2016.
She was the head of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sector at the Ministry of Economy and Planning and was appointed Deputy Assistant Minister for G20 Affairs.
Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Ayaf Al-Muqrin took the oath before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques after her appointment as the ambassador for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Spain.
