The Chairman of the Arab and UAE Basketball Federations and the Organizing Committee for the Dubai International Tournament, Major General Ismail Al-Qurgawi, praised the support of institutions and companies sponsoring this unique international event in the Middle East. This was mentioned during a meeting held today, Wednesday, at the Occidental Jadaf Hotel, attended by members of the organizing committee and representatives of the sponsoring companies.
Al-Qurgawi emphasized the importance of the tournament and its positive impact on our national team and Arab basketball, which had a remarkable presence in the recent World Cup. The tournament manager, Salem Al-Mutawa, also spoke at the meeting, stressing the importance of cooperation between the game federation and the sponsoring companies.
For his part, the Chairman of Sama Events, Awad Sami, expressed his gratitude to Major General Ismail Al-Qurgawi for the valuable trust he has given to the company to organize an exceptional, unprecedented edition, wishing success and achievement for the organizing body and the participating clubs and teams.
