The owner of a restaurant has received a threat from Kylian Mbappé's lawyer, the star of the French national team and Paris Saint-Germain, regarding a kebab sandwich named after the player without prior approval. According to "Monte Carlo" radio, Mohamed Hani, the owner of a restaurant specializing in kebab dishes and a social media influencer who supports Marseille, received a message from Delphine Verhaeghe, Kylian Mbappé's lawyer, threatening legal action if he does not change the name of one of his restaurant's popular dishes that bears Mbappé's name within a week.
Hani expressed his astonishment by sharing the message on social media, which stated: "Mr. Hani is using the name Kylian Mbappé for commercial and promotional purposes without obtaining prior approval from us." In response, Mohamed said, "I did not think that a player of this level would lose his mind and find the time to attack me over a sandwich. All I did was name a dish after the player, as I have done many times before." The description of the dish that angered Mbappé included "fresh, round bread like Kylian Mbappé's head."
Hani added, "I have never mocked Mbappé; I previously named a dish after Dimitri Payet (a player from Vasco da Gama, and winner of the 2018 World Cup alongside Mbappé) and he didn't complain because he has the values that Mbappé lacks."
